Fifteen minutes from Argostoli, the capital, and approximately 20 minutes from the airport, on the south coast of the island and along a verdant route, you will encounter one of the most beautiful resorts on the island: the enchanting village of Lourdas (or Lourdata). Garbis Villas are situated between Vlahata and Lourdas. The view from here, in its entire splendor, offers you a sense of total tranquility and relaxation. In Vlahata & Lourdas you will find numerous traditional Kefalonian tavernas offering Greek and International cuisine for your meals, supermarkets, car hire offices, souvenir shops and quiet, out-of-the- way bars for your afternoon or evening drinks. The nearest tavenas to Garbis Villas are just 300m away. On the hill above Lourdas beach and merely a ten-minute walk from the sea, Garbis Villas majestically accentuates the naturally splendid landscape. The beach of Lourdas also offers water sports, sunbeds & umbrellas for rent, boat hire and has tavernas along the beach front for lunch or dinner. It is not essential to rent a car whilst staying at Garbis Villas, however it is reccommended to hire one for a few days to explore our beautiful island. A little further afield are the villages of Katelios and Scala where you will find more tavernas, bars and shops as well as some stunning beaches.
Studios
Our air-conditioned studios comprise of a spacious bedroom with TV, a separate modern kitchenette, and its own bathroom. On the shaded terrace, surrounded by flowers, the lovely pool and the wondrous vista of the blue Ionian Sea, you can enjoy your breakfast and meals in a most pleasant setting. The studios have been furnished and decorated with meticulous taste down to the last detail, with walnut wood furnishings and orthopedic mattresses to ensure a restful sleep. The studio is ideal for couples or good friends.
One Bedroom
Each of the air conditioned one-bedroom apartments has been tastefully equipped to meet all your needs. The apartments each have a modern kitchenette, bathroom, spacious bedroom and a large sofabed & TV in the lounge. On the shaded terrace with a splendid view of the sea you can enjoy your morning coffee, or even a romantic dinner. The furnishings are made from high-quality walnut wood and the mattresses are orthopedic to ensure a restful sleep. The one-bedroom apartment is ideal for couples with children or good friends.
Two Bedrooms
On the first floor of each of the villas there is a peaceful, spacious air conditioned two-bedroom apartment with a magnificent view that is sure to remain unforgettable. It comprises of two separate bedrooms, two bathrooms (one full-size and a W.C.), a large living room with a fireplace, TV and a sofabed that converts into a double bed. The fully equipped kitchen will make cooking as simple as home. On the ample, sunny balcony with mosaic floor you will enjoy moments of peace and relaxation with the company of your loved ones. Tastefully decorated with walnut wood furnished bedrooms, orthopedic mattresses and a bamboo furnished living room, the two bedroom apartment is ideal for families, two couples or good friends.
Swimming Pool
In the middle of a sprawling natural terrace, which borders on one side with the verdant mountainside, and on the other with thedazzling blue of the Ionian Sea, we have built a large swimming pool where you can enjoy your swim when you are not in the mood to visit the beach. The pool is also an ideal setting for your morning coffee, afternoon drink or evening cocktail against the magical backdrop of the setting sun. Plentiful flowers, a magnificent vista and the sooting sound of the sea make for a uniquely relaxing experience.

At Garbis villas you will find an extra something special to enjoy with your whole family, none other that the Barbecue! In a specially designed area with a traditional flair, you can prepare and enjoy your own Cephalonian treats at any time of the day. Combined with the exquisite Garbis wine and the world renowned Feta Cheese, you can make your culinary delight an unforgettable experience!

BY AIR The International Airport of Cephalonia is a mere 20 minute drive away from Garbis villas, and it hosts numerous flights daily. You can book flights from the United Kingdom to Cephalonia at your local travel agent.
